Questions procurement teams ask

Quick answers.

Do you work outside Uganda?

Yes. We work across East Africa through our associates and partner firms, and we join international teams as the national or regional partner.

Can you join our bid as national partner at short notice?

Usually, yes. Send the terms of reference and deadline. We can supply CVs, company documents and signed declarations quickly, and agree a teaming agreement or memorandum of understanding.

Which languages do your field teams work in?

We recruit field staff who speak the main language of each area, such as Luganda, Acholi, Lango, Lugbara, Ateso, Runyankore or Lusoga, alongside English. Tools are translated and back-translated before fieldwork.

How do you price your work?

Fixed-price or time-based fees, in Uganda shillings or US dollars, following your procurement rules. Budgets show fees, field costs and expenses separately.

Can you meet our safeguarding, data protection and audit requirements?

Yes. Our policies are written to the requirements of development banks, UN agencies and bilateral donors, and we accept audit and investigation clauses as standard.

Do you have a conflict of interest with our project?

We check before every bid and declare any actual, potential or perceived conflict to you in writing, with how we would manage it.
