Home/About us
A firm built for evidence you can stand behind.
Tsavone Consulting Ltd is a Ugandan company, incorporated in 2023 and headquartered in Gulu City. We serve clients across Uganda and East Africa, and partner with international firms beyond.
Who we are
A niche in how we work, not a limit on where.
Most consulting firms choose a sector. We chose a capability: getting reliable evidence from the field and turning it into decisions, designs and systems that people use. That capability works in any sector, so clients get one standard of quality whether the assignment is about farming, health, roads or jobs.
Around that core we have built four deep practices where our people bring long experience: agrifood and market systems, nature and biodiversity, climate and energy transition, and youth skills and jobs. Specialist associates extend our reach into health, education, water, governance, infrastructure, extractives, tourism and humanitarian response.
We are a for-profit company. We earn our place on every contract by being well prepared, honest about what the evidence shows, and easy to work with.
Purpose
What we are here to do.
Vision
To be East Africa's most trusted source of evidence from the field.
Mission
To give decision-makers reliable evidence, practical advice and lasting skills, delivered with integrity.
Values
Six commitments behind every assignment.
Integrity first
We report what we find, declare conflicts of interest and have zero tolerance for fraud and corruption.
Rigour in the field
Trained teams, tested tools and checked data. If we cannot stand behind a number, we say so.
Respect for people
Informed consent, safeguarding and care for the communities who give us their time and information.
Useful work
Reports, tools and training designed to be used by the people who must act on them.
Accountability
Clear roles, written agreements and on-time delivery. When something goes wrong, we fix it.
Local depth, wider reach
We know the ground and its languages, and we work to the standards of international clients.
Governance
Led by a Board, run on written policies.
A Board of Directors sets direction and oversees finance, risk, safeguarding and integrity. Day-to-day management sits with the Managing Director.
