Home/Report a concern
Speak up. We will listen and act.
Anyone can report a concern about the behaviour of Tsavone staff, associates, field teams or partners: community members, survey respondents, clients, suppliers or colleagues. You do not need proof.
If someone is in immediate danger
Call the Uganda Police on 999 or 112. For a child at risk, call the free Child Helpline on 116. Then tell us as soon as you safely can.
What you can report
Any behaviour that harms people or breaks trust.
Safeguarding
Sexual exploitation, abuse or harassment; harm to a child or an adult at risk; any breach of our code of conduct.
Integrity
Fraud, theft, bribery, corruption, kickbacks, falsified data, undeclared conflicts of interest or sanctions breaches.
Other misconduct
Misuse of personal data, unsafe working conditions, discrimination or retaliation against someone who spoke up.
What happens next
How we handle your report.
We acknowledge it
If you give contact details, we confirm receipt within 24 hours for safeguarding reports and within two working days for other reports.
We protect people first
We act to keep anyone at risk safe and, with the survivor's consent, offer referral to medical, psychosocial and legal support.
We look into it
A trained person who is not involved assesses the report and, where needed, a fair investigation follows.
We act and inform
We take action, report to clients and funders as our contracts require, and to the authorities where the law requires.
Our promise
Confidential, survivor-centred, no retaliation.
Confidential
Only the people who need to know will know who you are. You may report without giving your name.
Survivor-centred
The wishes, safety and dignity of the person harmed guide every step we take.
No retaliation
Anyone who reports in good faith is protected. Retaliation is itself a serious offence under our policies.
If a concern involves the Managing Director, write to the Board Safeguarding Lead and Integrity Contact through safeguarding@tsavone.com, marked "For the Board".
