Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and does not use third-party analytics. Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with: our web and email host, which stores it on our behalf; clients or funders, only where you have agreed (for example when we propose you as an associate); and authorities, where the law requires or someone is at risk. Our host's servers may be outside Uganda; where they are, we rely on the host's contractual and security safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and document requests: up to two years after our last contact.
- Associate roster records: while you remain on the roster, and for up to two years after you ask to leave or we last worked together.
- Brief subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
- Reports of concern: as long as our safeguarding and integrity policies and the law require.
How we protect it
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Form submissions go to company email accounts protected by individual passwords. Access is limited to the staff who need it.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and you may withdraw consent or object to our use of it at any time. Email us at the address above and we will reply within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Office of Uganda.
